My Background
I will use my experiences, abilities, and resolve to work collaboratively to find solutions to our problems.

My husband and I bought our very first home in West Lebanon and 20 years later we moved to Lebanon, so I know both sides of our community well. Our four children were raised and educated in our district schools.
I worked at Dartmouth Hitchcock for 41 years as an Registered Nurse and during that time I earned a Master’s in Business Administration and joined the leadership team. I have direct experience in all facets of running a large department, (including budgeting, resource allocation, strategic planning, measuring and monitoring program effectiveness and efficiency, and people management) within the context of NH’s largest employer. I am also a past chairperson of the NH Healthcare Quality and Safety Commission, where I worked collaboratively with representatives of all 26 hospitals in NH to improve the quality and safety of hospital care across the state. These experiences contribute to my ability and resolve to work collaboratively to find solutions to problems through analysis and negotiation.
In my spare time I play golf (poorly), ski (better), and walk the Ward 3 hills and enjoy the rail trail. I am a board member of the NH Chapter of Gift of Adoption, an organization that provides grants to families willing to provide a forever home to special needs children and who need financial assistance to complete the adoption process. And we have 4 beautiful grandchildren, 2 of whom are being raised in the Upper Valley.
